New Hair do
We found a fun kids haircut place called Pigtails and Crewcuts. I told the hairdresser that Lily just needed a trim. She had a different idea and gave Lily a darling hair style. Here a few photos of Lily's post haircut dance. And yes it really was that nice out.
Cookie tour
On Friday, I got mother of the year because I let Lily skip Preschool and go on a cookie tour with cousins Audrey and Kate. We were not sure if Cora should go on a cookie tour so Uncle Erich took all three girls. Here is Lily with the cookie she made and then refer to Uncle Erich's blog for more information - the best blogger I know http://madeinpdx.blogspot.com/2013/10/cookie-tour.html
Apple Festival
We went with Grandpa Davey to an apple festival. Lily got her face painting, checked out the hay maze, and saw some animals. We sampled apples, apple sausage, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
Fun at Mt Hood
On a beautiful Sunday morning, we drove up to Mt Hood to visit Sara and her family at their cabin. It's a beautiful spot. Lily and Eli had fun pretending the rocking chair was a boat.

Slumber Party
Uncle Ralph and Aunt Sonya visited us on Wednesday night. Lily was very excited for the slumber party. It was a real good time with new matching pjs from aunt Sonya and Cora rocking out in new shades.
The Children's museum
Lily's favorite place on earth is the Children's Museum. She loves the whole place but especially the animal hospital. Cora even liked it when she got to hold the kitty. And Lily found the face painting station there. She was very proud of her creation.
Pumpkin Carving
Some say it might be too early to decorate pumpkins, but we plan to do a lot so we needed to get started. Oh the pumpkin is not permanently residing in the bathroom but we needed to appreciate it in the dark.

The Zoo
With another perfect fall day, we spent the morning at the zoo with Sara, Eli, and Sylvie. Eli and Lily are best pals. Both quite silly and never spent more than 20 seconds looking at an animal. Sylvie and Cora will be best pals soon but they were confined to their strollers so they could not scoot together.
Pumpkin Patch
Back in April, we decided to change jobs and move all to spend October in the Pacific Northwest. And Saturday it all came true. Grandpa Davey babysat in the morning and then we headed out to the Pumpkin Patch with GG. It was a beautiful day. We might be back every day between now and Halloween.
