We wondered how long it would stay away, but the snow is finally here. Most of Anchorage probably woke up to snow. But not the Taylors. Lily woke us up bright and early so we could see the first snow come down. Lily was not too impressed. She also did not want to wear her coat so that might have had something to do with it. Thank goodness we have 7 more months of snow for her to get used to it.
Since Mom did not have to plan the Haunted Halloween Fun Night at UAA this year, Lily got to go and enjoy the fun. She liked digging for coins in the sand and picking up ducks in the water.
Lily, the lady bug, had fun at a Halloween Party hosted by mom's friend from work. She got to dance with Cinderella, decorate cookies, pin the nose on a pumpkin, and there even was a spider pinata. As usual, Lily did not mix it up in the candy frenzy when the pinata broke, but Ava the sweet witch made a bag up for Lily.
It was time for Lily to get her first haircut. Sometimes without bows her hair would fall into her face. And no matter the amount of cute clips GG and Aunt Sonya got Lily, they just never stayed in for too long. Lily only goes to the finest hair salons "Haircuts for Peanuts". The haircut lasted about 2 min and she was fascinated by the bubbles for the first 90 seconds. Below is a before, during, and after shot.
Lily got to go to the pumpkin patch for the first time. Her cousins Audrey and Kate took her to show her the ropes. Lily thought walking through the pumpkins was pretty cool. All the girls got pumpkins. We also went on a hayride, dug for potatoes, ran through a cool harvest tube, played on a tractor, did pumpkin bowling, and walked through a hay maze. It was so fun Lily fell asleep on the way back to GGs. For more photos, you can check out Audrey and Kate's Blog
