More of the parade

More photos of the parade are coming in from friends and family.  I think they are so cute so I will keep posting.

Happy 4th of July

On of the things Skagway does well is the 4th of July.  It is always a good time.  Lily and Cora got to be in the kiddie parade with Mackenzie, Emmerson, and Brolin.  The theme of the parade was the Garden City so we had some insects - three pink butterflies, a lady bug and a spider.  They got Honorable Mention.  More photos will be coming.  I was a little busy playing stage mom to take photos.  Then we rode on the White Pass float.  Lily did not throw candy, but she ate candy.  Then to face painting, balloon animals, picnic, and home for naps  - and its only 2pm.  More to come...

The moms decorated the wagon on the 3rd while the girls played. 

Cora was a very stoic ladybug.  She was not sure what all this craziness was about.

This is Cora

Hi, this is Cora.  My mom has been a terrible blogger so I am taking things into my own hands.  Her last post was when I was 4 months old, and I can do a lot more since then.

I can sit up. 

I like to play toys.

Cora turns 4 months old

It's hard to believe, but Cora is four months old.  To celebrate, Lily got her haircut.  Sorry Cora, its tough being number two.  I did get some cute photos, until Lily decided she too needed to be the photographer. 

Do they look the same?

Since the day Cora was born, everyone has been asking me if they look alike. Yes and no. Here are two photos taken about the same time in their lives. All I can say is they are both soooo cute.

A new doggie?

Today at breakfast, Lily asked for two extra bowls of cereal for her animals. That is not surprising as we have to do lots of things for the animals. I just didn't realize they were all eating together.

Easter

We had to do Easter up big this year since its Cora's first one and the first one Lily will remember. We left out a carrot for the Easter Rabbit last night. This morning, Lily was excited about her Easter basket with art supplies. We went to church with Chelsie's family. The girls did great, as long as dancing to the hymns is excepted. Then we went to brunch at Johnny and Oliver's house. As of 6pm, Lily still has 5 more eggs to find.
