Spring is here

To celebrate seeing pavement for the first time since Halloween, Lily has switched up her outdoor gear. Just a fleece and rain boots for Spring.

Cousin Time

Aunt Morgan, Uncle Paul, and Cousin Elsa came up for the weekend. Oh, the girls had a lot of fun and kept each other entertained.

Lily's First Sleepover

Lily's friend Anna's parents were at the hospital welcoming her new baby brother, Henry, so Anna got to play with Lily for two whole days. The girls had a really good time from playdoh, to cooking, shopping cart races, and doing each others hair.

Going for the snow record

Officially it is the third snowiest winter in Anchorage. But it is only the first week of March. We only need 10 more inches to break the record. Usually I don't want more snow but I figure we deserve some credit for living through this. It's hard to capture in photos but hopefully you get the snow drift. Hee hee.

February

Sorry Lily fans. A whole month has passed. Here is a recap.

We had a lot of fun with Johnny (or John John according to Lily) and Oliver.

Often, we went to the library for story time and got to sit in these fun chairs.

Lily made a lot of food in her kitchen.

We love music/dance class. (No pictures because we are too busy dancing)

Dada got creative and made slides in the house.

Went to the indoor playground for real slides and fast cars.

Tried to play in the snow a lot and usually we ended up like this.

When it's 25 below.....

We wanted to try sledding again but it was just too cold. So we went to the library and found a Valentine's Day book about Lily. What a find. For other fun this weekend Oliver and Johnny came over and we went to the Museum.

New Hair #2

Lily is getting so big she already needed a second hair cut. She was so grown up this time.  She thought it was pretty neat. I was blowing bubbles at her the whole time so that also helped. She was so patient she even got a ribbon. We went out for cookies afterward because she was so much fun.
